Forefeathers follows the journey of a small penguin named Bokki, who travels to a mist-covered fishing village—the childhood home of his ghostly grandmother. Gameplay centers on the bond between the two characters, as players utilize the grandmother’s light to solve environmental puzzles that reveal memories of her past.
The game is described as an atmospheric adventure rather than a difficult puzzle title, focusing on themes of loss and memory through a hand-drawn art style. While native Linux and Windows support is confirmed, the developer has not yet provided specific system requirements, frame rate targets, or information regarding Steam Deck optimization.
