Playtest Access and Phase Rollout
Access to the Bodycam playtest is being granted to eligible players who requested access via the official Steam page and have the game on their wishlist. Developers noted that only a small portion of registered participants will receive access during the active playtest phase to stress-test matchmaking and new systems at scale. Invitations are delivered directly to the email address tied to the recipient's Steam account. Additional access opportunities are available through selected content creators distributing keys to their communities.
What to Expect in Version 0.8 Locked & Loaded
The playtest period serves as a stress test leading directly into the launch of the Version 0.8 Locked & Loaded major update, which arrives for all players two days after the playtest concludes. The update represents the game's largest expansion to date, introducing custom audio technologies for weapons, environments, shockwaves, and spatial sound. Players can also explore 'Trenches,' a new map combining close-quarters combat with long-range engagements, dynamic weather, and multiple tactical routes, alongside fresh animations, loadouts, and gadgets.
