Riot Games has announced it will end ongoing development of its fighting game 2XKO at the end of 2026. According to the studio, the decision comes after the title failed to attract a large enough player base following its full release in January.

- Developer/Publisher: Riot Games
- Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X
- Status: Development ending in late 2026
- Server Status: Servers remain active beyond 2026
What Happens to 2XKO Servers and Content?
Despite stopping long-term development, Riot stated that 2XKO will remain playable on all platforms and servers will stay online past 2026. Players can also expect additional updates before the end of the year, with two new characters scheduled to join the roster during the remainder of 2026.
The decision affects the multi-platform release that originally launched in January across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. While future updates will cease once the year concludes, the existing game client and servers will remain accessible for current players of the Riot fighting game.
