Unlike the other eight habitable shells in Mortal Shell 2, the Genessa Shell cannot be found wandering the map. To unlock her for your roster, you must complete a specific boss encounter and return a unique item to her arena.

How to Unlock the Genessa Shell

  1. Locate the Sester's Censer: Travel to the Revenant Graves area. The most efficient route starts at the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon; head southeast until you reach the middle of the three bone gates.
  2. Traverse the Gap: Use the bone gate to cross the gap and climb the stairs leading to a large arena. You will recognize the area by the presence of ghostly red Sester apparitions.
  3. Defeat Sester Secundus: Interact with the Sester's Censer to warp into a dungeon. You must defeat the boss, Sester Secundus, to claim the Censer as your reward.
  4. Return to the Marrow Keep: Take the recovered Sester's Censer to Sester Genessa in her arena located in the Marrow Keep to unlock her shell.

Important Considerations

Once unlocked, you must return to Genessa's arena to equip her; you cannot switch to the Genessa Shell within Zhirelle's chamber. If you have a Blackmarrow key, visit the Marrow Keep elevator room to unlock one of Genessa's available Shades. Additionally, players can explore the secret room within Genessa's arena to Commune with Chaos.
