Quick Facts

  • Version: 1.4.5.7
  • Developer: Re-Logic
  • Platform: PC via Steam (Console and mobile versions pending approval)

Developer Re-Logic has released version 1.4.5.7 for Terraria on PC, delivering a fresh round of content and mechanical adjustments to the sandbox survival game. While categorized as a hotfix, the patch introduces several community-requested additions and revisions that alter how combat and exploration function.

The update expands the available item pool by introducing new staves and accessories, alongside the Kinship Peach material. Players can also venture into two newly added secret world seeds. For combat mechanics, respawn timers have been streamlined so players no longer face wait times when no significant danger is present.

Weapon utility has also shifted, particularly for yoyo builds. Yoyos have received direct buffs, and the Eye of Cthulhu yoyo now spawns an active Eye of Cthulhu entity when striking enemies. Boss encounters have seen adjustments as well: the Empress of Light has been nerfed, while the Moon Lord and Deerclops receive visual and mechanical changes to clarify their attack patterns.
