Upgrading your carrying capacity in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is essential for managing your inventory during dungeon runs. Most capacity increases for your wallet, bomb bags, slingshot, and quiver are tied to specific mini-games or side quests scattered throughout Hyrule.

Wallet Upgrades

Both the Adult and Giant's Wallets are earned by collecting Gold Skulltula tokens. Once you have the required amount, return to the house on the southeast side of Kakariko Village to speak with the cursed family.

  • Adult's Wallet (500 Rupees): Collect 10 Gold Skulltulas.
  • Giant's Wallet (1,000 Rupees): Collect 30 Gold Skulltulas.

Bomb Bag Upgrades

  • Bigger Bomb Bag: Complete Dodongo's Cavern. In Goron City, locate the Goron rolling on the second floor. Wait for him to enter the covered section of his path and drop a bomb by the wooden sign in the back right corner to stop him. Talk to him to claim your reward.
  • Biggest Bomb Bag: After obtaining the Spiritual Stone of Fire, head to the Bombchu Parlor in Hyrule Castle Town. Complete two rounds of the Bombchu Bowling mini-game to unlock the capacity increase.

Slingshot and Deku Seed Upgrades

  • Bigger Deku-Seed Bag (40 capacity): Visit the shooting gallery in Hyrule Castle Town and hit all 10 targets in one run.
  • Biggest Deku-Seed Bag: In the Lost Woods, find the area with a large target hanging from a tree. Land three consecutive bullseyes to receive the upgrade from a Deku Shrub.

Deku Stick and Nut Upgrades

  • Bigger Deku-Stick Bag: In the Lost Woods, go left from the Kokiri Forest entrance, then left again. Find the hidden Deku Merchant near the Gossip Stone, deflect his seed with your shield, and purchase the upgrade for 40 Rupees.
  • Biggest Deku-Stick Bag: Obtain the Skull Mask from the Happy Mask Shopkeeper. In the Lost Woods, follow this path: Right, Left, Right, Left, Left. Use the mask on the tree stump in front of the Deku Sprouts to trigger a cutscene and receive your reward.
  • Bigger Deku-Nut Bag: Before entering the Sacred Grove, blow up the large rock near the entrance. Drop down, reflect the projectiles back at the two Business Scrubs, and buy the upgrade from the left one for 40 Rupees.
  • Biggest Deku-Nut Bag: Obtain the Mask of Truth from the Happy Mask Shopkeeper. Return to the grove (Right, Left, Right, Left, Left in the Lost Woods) and use the mask on the tree stump in front of the Deku Sprouts.

Quiver Upgrades

  • Bigger Arrow Quiver: As an adult, visit the Kakariko Village shooting gallery across from the Cucco Lady’s home. Hit all 10 moving targets to unlock the upgrade.
  • Biggest Arrow Quiver: After freeing the carpenters in Gerudo Fortress, go to the horse archery range in the southeast corner. Score 1,400 points or more in the mini-game while riding Epona to earn the final quiver upgrade.
