Key Bug Fixes and Adjustments
Hotfix 5 targets a wide variety of specific mechanics, combat interactions, and progression hurdles reported by players since the game's launch. Notable fixes include adjustments to Dream Dives, ensuring that Wells of Charon appear properly after visiting Ephyra.
Several Boon and upgrade interactions have also been adjusted:
- Fixed an interaction between Weed Killer (Demeter) and Dividing Blaze (Daedalus - Flames).
- Resolved an issue with Prominence Flare (Apollo) and Phase Shift (Selene) when using Purification.
- Corrected cases where King's Ransom (Zeus x Hera) and Queen's Ransom (Hera x Zeus) would sometimes fail to remove Duo Boons from Hera and Zeus respectively.
- Addressed UI feedback when attempting to use Glorious Disaster (Zeus x Apollo) with insufficient Magick.
- Fixed Moon Beam (Selene) not reliably triggering a Path of Stars to appear in Tartarus or the Summit.
- Resolved an issue where players could run out of Life while selecting a Boon or Path of Stars upgrade while affected by Engraved Pin (Moros).
Boss and Encounter Adjustments
Combat encounters and enemy behaviors receive several targeted corrections in Hotfix 5:
- Fixed cases where Howling Soul (Hades) projectiles detonated unexpectedly during the Unrivaled Typhon fight.
- Corrected Vow of Scars (Oath) healing reduction unintentionally affecting vampiric attacks from the Phantom in the Fields of Mourning.
- Addressed cases where Suffering on Sight (Medea) caused foes to attack sooner than expected upon entering locations in Thessaly.
- Fixed the Riposte effect from Aspect of Artemis failing to activate against Infernal Cerberus's radial blasts.
- Resolved an issue where Unrivaled Prometheus's charge-up attacks could continue even after his defeat.
- Fixed a bug where Chronos could become noninteractive in Erebus if the player switched Keepsakes.
The patch also addresses minor narrative voiceover issues, text errors, and general stability fixes.
