Organizing over 3,000 books in Librarian: Tidy Up The Arcane Library can be a daunting task. If you are struggling to keep your shelves in order, you are likely wasting time double-checking themes or running back and forth to the maps. Whether you are using magic to speed up your workflow or chasing the Anti-Magic Master achievement, here is how to keep your library organized.

How To Identify Book Locations

If you have invested in Major Magic, the Shelf Guide ability is your best friend. Tapping the assigned button will highlight the shelf where your held book belongs. You can upgrade this to a 60-second active duration with a 5-second cooldown, making it nearly always available.

For those avoiding magic, the maps near the stairs provide a general theme for every shelf. Additionally, most books follow a color-coded pattern that matches their designated shelf. If you place a book and see a red glow, it doesn't always mean you are at the wrong unit; check if you have already started that collection on a different shelf tier.
