Thieves Guild and Early Season Content

As of July 8, players can jump into the new Thieves Guild storyline. To get started, you will need to pick up the “Codex Caper” quest from the in-game Crown Store. This narrative arc tasks you with helping Quen establish a new guild chapter in Glenumbra while facing off against the Koldane Cartel. Completing this questline offers unique rewards, including a special costume and a mythic item.

Alongside the questline, the Favors system is now available. By interacting with new posting boards placed by the Freerunners in each Alliance, players can access 20 unique daily quests per Alliance. Additionally, the game has introduced Dynamic Encounters—multi-stage world events currently active in Glenumbra, Auridon, and Stonefalls.

Upcoming Content Roadmap

While the season has launched, several major updates are scheduled for later dates:

  • July 29: Sheogorath Storyline begins, focusing on the Daedric Prince of Madness's travels through Tamriel.
  • September 21 (Update 51): The Nowhere Vault solo experience, the 12-player Crimson Veldt trial, the Rumors system, and general player experience improvements.
  • September 30 – October 14: The High Seas of Tamriel in-game event.

The Crimson Veldt trial is particularly notable as it marks the first time The Elder Scrolls Online will feature mounted combat in a group challenge. During the High Seas of Tamriel event, players can look forward to ship-to-ship battles and treasure hunting across the Abecean Sea.

Tamriel Tome and Gold Coast Bazaar

Season One introduces a new Tamriel Tome, which allows players to unlock various items, currencies, and consumables by completing seasonal challenges. While the Tome includes free rewards like the Golden Dwarven Spider pet and Charming Rogue weapon styles, players can opt for premium tiers to unlock additional items such as the Hew’s Bane Hyena mount and the Dawngold Corgi pet.

Furthermore, the Gold Coast Bazaar has been updated with over 30 items for the duration of the season. These include rotating rewards such as the Treasure Hunter’s Horse mount and the Ascendant Lord Statue. Players can acquire these items using Trade Bars earned through their progress in the Tamriel Tome.
