Winter has arrived in Forza Horizon 6, bringing the third week of the Series 2 Festival Playlist, "Horizon Decades." This week turns the spotlight to the 2000s, featuring a mix of challenges that should take roughly two hours to complete. Here is how to tackle everything on the list.

Weekly Challenge: Theory of Evolution

To complete this, you must use the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM Edition. You likely already have this car as a reward for earning your first Wristband, but it can be purchased at the Autoshow for 70,000 Credits.

  • Step 1: Own and drive the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM Edition.
  • Step 2: Complete 3 laps at the Sekiba Time Attack circuit.
  • Step 3: Earn 3 Stars at the Festival Loop Speed Zone. You can upgrade the car as needed to hit this target.
  • Step 4: Win a Dirt Race.

Completion rewards you with 25,000 Credits.

Seasonal Championships

Stray from the Path: This series of three races is restricted to B-Class 600 PI 2000s Modern Rally cars. The 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi is a top contender, though other Imprezas or Lancers work well too. Reward: 2006 Audi RS 4.

Retro Rewind: A three-race challenge restricted to A-Class 700 PI 2000s Retro Sports Cars. The 2005 Honda NSX-R GT is the recommended choice over the TVR Sagaris, and it is available for free as a Barn Find. Reward: 2001 Acura Integra Type R.

World Events

  • Hokubu Time Attack: Beat a time of 00:58:000 using any S1-Class 800 PI 2000s car (excluding Formula Drift models). Reward: Wheelspin.
  • Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route Speed Zone: This snowy, narrow route requires you to beat 160.9 km/h using an S1-Class 800 PI 2000s car. Focus on high-acceleration builds. Reward: Wheelspin.
  • Mt. Haruna Drift Zone: Earn 115,000 Drift Points using an S1-Class 800 PI 2000s car. The 2009 Formula Drift #99 Mazda RX-8 is highly recommended. Reward: Wheelspin.

Online Challenges

The Trial: Face Unbeatable Drivatars in a B-Class 600 PI 2000s Total FWD race. The 2008 Renault Mégane R26.R (earned via The Eliminator) is the preferred pick. Reward: 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

The Eliminator: Finish at least 30th to earn the 2008 Renault Mégane R26.R.

Horizon Play: Simply participate in any Horizon Racing Championship to earn 3 points and a 2003 Honda S2000.

Monthly Rivals: Set a clean lap at the Narai-Juku Circuit to earn a Super Wheelspin.

Photo Challenge and Treasure Hunt

For the Photo Challenge, take a picture of any 2000s Rally Monster car to unlock the “You’re a MONSTER!” Forza Link phrase. For the Treasure Hunt, head to the extreme north of the map to locate the hidden chest and collect 100,000 Credits.

Series Rewards

Completing all challenges grants 50 points. Milestone rewards include the 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 (20 points), the 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning (40 points), and the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (80 Series points).
