The Forza Horizon 6 Series 4 update, released August 10 across Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app on PC, and Steam, introduces a suite of new accessibility features and permanent content additions alongside the "Horizon Mascot Party" festival playlist.

Key Accessibility and Quality-of-Life Changes

Players can now enable American Sign Language (ASL) or British Sign Language (BSL) support for cinematics. This feature appears in a picture-in-picture window that can be repositioned and customized via the Accessibility menu. Additionally, three specific issues for Screen Reader users were resolved: missing prize names for Wheelspins, truncated descriptions on the 'What's Next?' screen, and a bug that caused the reader to stop functioning after the ANNA tutorial.

Garage management has also been improved. The update fixes an incorrect "Garage Full" warning triggered by Car Pass vehicles and resolves a bug that prevented the removal of cars once the garage limit was reached. Players may also now delete locally saved EventLab events to clear up storage space.

New Content and EventLab Tools

A temporary Edamame Time Attack Circuit has been added to the Horizon Stadium, available for play from August 13 through September 10. The circuit functions like existing Time Attack locations, allowing players to compete against Convoys, rivals, and global leaderboards.

EventLab creators receive 47 new props, largely themed around the "Horizon Mascot Party." These include:

  • Nine each of flags, billboards, cutouts, and barriers.
  • An inflatable Curry Rice mascot.
  • Four new Pit Garage variations.
  • Various items including a bike, scooter, sports motorbike, plastic crates, and plant boxes.

Vehicle and Visual Fixes

The patch addresses several technical issues affecting vehicle performance and visuals:

  • Physics: The 1972 Nissan Patrol and 2022 Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica will no longer stop abruptly when driving over certain kerbs.
  • Audio/Stats: The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio now features new stock exhaust audio and corrected power-to-weight ratio calculations.
  • Visuals: Raindrops no longer appear inside cockpit views for multiple vehicles, and the 1990 Subaru Legacy RS and 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta have received geometry and loading fixes.
  • Progression: The "Shibuya Showstopper" chapter of the Moto Auto Zine Stories is now completable without the previously required Yellow Wristband.
