Blizzard has launched Overwatch Season 4: Heroes of Busan, bringing a wealth of balancing adjustments, UI updates, and competitive changes to the multi-platform hero shooter. Alongside the arrival of new hero D.Mon and map reworks for Eichenwalde, Busan, and Paraíso, competitive players can now climb a brand-new tier.

Core Hero Balance Changes
Season 4 adjusts multiple heroes and roles across the roster:
- Flanker Sub-role: Additional healing from health packs reduced from 75 to 50.
- Doomfist: Seismic Slam damage increased from 50 to 60.
- Hazard: Ultimate cost increased by seven percent; Explosive Impalements Major Perk requires 12 Bonespur hits instead of 14.
- Mauga: Combat Fuel overhealth per shot increased to four; Overrun cooldown increased from five to six seconds in 5v5.
- Orisa: Charged Javelin Major Perk removed and replaced with Heavy Javelin, increasing knockback by 25 percent and wall impact damage by 15.
- Winston: Ultimate cost reduced by six percent and healing increased from 30 to 35.
- Cassidy: Giddy Up Minor Perk added, granting a 60 percent decaying speed boost after Combat Roll.
- Echo: Aerial Munitions gives infinite ammo during Flight; Focusing Beam range and movement speed boosted via a moved Major Perk.
- Lifeweaver: Life Grip can now be manually cancelled with the Jump input after 0.6 seconds, with pull speed reduced from 30 to 25 meters per second.
- Tracer: Temporal Regen Minor Perk added for 50 percent faster passive healing, and Recall cooldown lowered to 12 seconds.
Stadium Mode Adjustments
Stadium rules and powers have received specific tuning:
- D.Va: Facetanking Power reworked to heal D.Va and nearby allies when Defense Matrix mitigates 150 damage; MEKA Ejector power reworked for faster Self-Destruct with reduced damage.
- Orisa: Critical Charger power critical damage increased to 100 percent.
- Rammatra: Vengeful Vortex detonation bonus damage reduced to 25.
Player Action Required
Players need to download the Season 4 update on their respective platform to access the new hero, map reworks, and balance changes. Team Drives can be disabled in social settings if players prefer not to participate in the automated group events.
