The Season 5 update for Counter-Strike 2 has introduced the Arabesque collection, a set of 17 weapon skins defined by heavy use of gold and indigo textures. Released alongside the Spy Tech collection, these items lean into royal, intricately carved designs.
How to Unlock Arabesque Skins
Unlike traditional case openings, the Arabesque collection is tied to the Armory system. To acquire these skins, you must have an active Armory Pass on your account. Here is the process:
- Earn Stars: Play the game to level up your account while an Armory Pass is active. You can have up to five passes active simultaneously to maximize your earnings.
- Redeem Drops: Each drop from the Arabesque collection costs 4 Stars.
- Randomized Rewards: Because drops are randomized, you are not guaranteed a specific item. If you have your eye on a particular skin, it is often more efficient to purchase it directly via the Steam Community Market or a trusted third-party marketplace once prices stabilize.

Recommended Glove Pairings
To complement the gold-heavy aesthetic of the Arabesque collection, consider pairing your new weapons with specific glove finishes:
- Driver Gloves | Brocade Crane: These feature a gold print on a deep red base, making them an excellent match for the collection's AK and AWP skins.
- Sports Gloves | Occult: Ideal for players wanting maximum yellow-gold coverage, featuring motifs like pyramids and eyes.
- Fingerless Options: The Broken Fang Gloves | Yellow-banded and Bloodhound Gloves | Snakebite are effective alternatives if you prefer a fingerless look.
