Dead Drop Studios has launched Tailbreak on Xbox Series X|S and PC, bringing arcade-style dinosaur shooting to Xbox Play Anywhere. Powered by Unreal Engine 5.7, the £20.99 release builds on the foundations of Railbreak while reimagining elements of DINOBREAK.

Campaign and Gameplay Features
Tailbreak follows protagonists Alex and Rin through six fully voiced story chapters set in Cypress Ridge. Players fight through restaurants, caves, and ruined streets against waves of prehistoric predators while managing a limited inventory system that restricts items to two slots at a time.
Alongside the main campaign, Arrange Mode offers upgraded weapons and customized handguns, while the Mutation Matrix remixes enemy placements and item drops to alter playthroughs. Local two-player co-op is supported across both the story and bonus modes, complemented by Score Attack options.
