Two major free demos have arrived on the Xbox Store, giving players on Xbox Series X|S a chance to try out upcoming strategy and action titles before their full launches.

Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo
Capcom has released a prologue demo for Monster Hunter Wilds ahead of its upcoming major Ascendance expansion, which is slated for 2027. Players can jump into the early game and play until completing the 'To the Forest' main mission. Depending on individual playstyles, this trial takes roughly one to three hours to finish.
Endless Legend 2 Demo
Amplitude Studios has launched a new demo for Endless Legend II. The release arrives just ahead of the strategy game's scheduled version 1.0 launch on September 1, 2026. The title features asymmetric factions led by powerful heroes on an ever-evolving world.

Alongside the two headline additions, the Xbox Store features six other demos with the 'New' tag attached. The standout among these extra additions is Mortal Shell II, which currently has an open beta available alongside smaller titles such as Golfish, Stick Infinite Kingdom, Gennady, ONE MAP - Never Ending Battle Royale BETA, and Flamecraft Demo.
