CD Projekt Red is officially incorporating the "HD Reworked Project" into the upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster. Mod creator HalkHogan confirmed the collaboration, noting that players will no longer need to manually install the popular graphics mod when the game launches on September 29, 2026.

Official Integration of Community Work

The HD Reworked Project has been a staple in the PC modding community for years, focusing on high-quality texture and model improvements for characters, creatures, armor, and environments. According to the developer's collaboration with HalkHogan, these visual upgrades are now part of the base game for both PC and console versions.

HalkHogan stated that almost every in-game character, animal, and set of vegetation has been reworked to ensure the highest quality. This move mirrors previous efforts where CD Projekt Red integrated community-made fixes into the game's earlier next-gen update.
