The Elden Ring Tarnished Edition introduces new cosmetic options for your mount, known as Spectral Steed Regalias. While these skins are designed to offer new players a fresh look, they are tucked away in specific locations across the map. The first of these, the Tree Sentinel armor for Torrent, is now available to collect.
How to Locate the Tree Sentinel Torrent Skin
- Defeat Godrick the Grafted: You must first clear the Stormveil Castle legacy dungeon and defeat the demigod boss.
- Locate the Throne Room: After the boss is defeated, enter the throne room in Stormveil Castle.
- Find the Secret Room: Head through the doorway located on the right-hand side, directly behind the throne.
- Open the Chest: You will find a chest inside this previously empty side room containing the Spectral Steed Regalia: Tree Sentinel.
How to Equip Your New Skin
Once you have obtained the Regalia, you do not need to visit a specific NPC to apply it. Simply rest at any site of grace in the Lands Between, select the option to "change spectral steed appearance," and choose your preferred skin from the menu.
While the Tree Sentinel skin is the first to be tracked down, the Tarnished Edition includes two additional Spectral Steed Regalias. Based on the game's geography, these are expected to be found in Raya Lucaria, associated with the Carian royalty, and in Leyndell, associated with Morgott.
