Publisher Infogrames and developer Washbear Studio have announced that Parkasaurus: Dinoluxe Edition will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 5, 2026. This release marks the transition of the dinosaur tycoon management simulation to the latest console generation.

The Dinoluxe Edition bundles the original simulation experience with two major expansions. The 'Prehistoric Wonders' pack adds 10 new creatures to the game, including the Giant Capybara, Dire Wolf, and Mammoth. The 'Sea Monsters' content introduces 10 aquatic creatures, three distinct biomes, and three additional missions.
Players are tasked with building and maintaining a dinosaur theme park, which involves designing exhibits that meet specific environmental needs—such as humidity, elevation, and plant life—to keep the animals healthy. The game also requires players to hire staff, conduct research, and manage park finances through ticket pricing and concessions.
Gameplay Mechanics
Management challenges include balancing guest happiness with the potential for dinosaur rampages. When dinosaurs break out of their enclosures, players can switch to a first-person perspective to intervene. The game features 15 total missions across the base game and the 'Sea Monsters' expansion, alongside 12 distinct biomes.
Parkasaurus originally launched on PC via Steam in August 2020, with a subsequent release on the original Switch in April 2022. This new edition brings the full suite of content and expansions to modern hardware for the first time.
