Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo Released for PC and Consoles

Capcom has released a "Prologue Demo" for Monster Hunter Wilds, providing players with an early look at the action RPG. The demo is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

New Purchase Options

Alongside the demo release, Capcom has updated its storefront options for the game. The previous Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition, and Cosmetic Downloadable Content Pass bundles have been discontinued. They are replaced by the following:

• Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition ($79.99): Includes the full game and the Cosmetic Downloadable Content Collection.
• Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic Downloadable Content Collection ($59.99): A bundle of 10 DLC packs, including the Extras Cosmetic Downloadable Content Pack.
• Monster Hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic Downloadable Content Pack ($29.99): A collection of paid cosmetic items previously sold as standalone products.

Monster Hunter Wilds originally launched on February 28, 2025. While a version for the Switch 2 is currently in development, a major expansion titled Ascendance is scheduled for release in 2027.
