Gameplay and Content
In Crimson Moon, players take on the role of a Nephilim—a hybrid of human and angel created to combat hellish forces. The gameplay focuses on souls-inspired melee combat, requiring players to navigate runs against demons, vampires, and other supernatural entities. The experience culminates in boss encounters against figures described as "Dead Gods."
The game offers both single-player and online cooperative modes. Those opting for the $29.99 Deluxe Edition will receive cosmetic items and access to a future post-launch content expansion. The title arrives in a busy window for the genre, releasing just days before The Blood of Dawnwalker and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
