Setting and Combat Details

Set in Nuevo Tokyo—a blend of Mexican grit and Japanese cyberpunk ruled by the corrupt Narkuzas—Mexican Ninja centers on fast-paced 2.5D arcade combat. Runs incorporate quick combos, dodges, spirit powers, and abilities referred to as Mexican Jutsus.

Progression is handled through randomized runs and layered meta-upgrades, including a swagger-soaked progression mechanic called the Way of the Donkey skill tree designed to let players customize their playstyle as they carve through the city's rebellion.
