Amplitude Studios and publisher Hooded Horse have announced that Endless Legend 2 will officially move out of early access with its 1.0 launch on September 17, 2026, on PC. The update marks the end of the game's development phase, introducing significant content additions and polish to the oceanic strategy title.

New Factions and Content

The 1.0 release introduces the Sandshapers, an ancient empire aiming to terraform the game's sea-covered world back into a desert. Alongside this major faction, the update adds 'Rogue Factions'—splinter groups that break away from major societies. The first two confirmed are:

  • The Order of Zelevas: A conquest-focused group originating from the Kin of Sheredyn.
  • The Severed Claw: A splinter of the Necrophage that replaces lost units by enslaving defeated enemies.

Additionally, the 'Mangrove of Harmony' minor faction joins the roster. Developed with community input, this starfish-like group focuses on Dust, Food, and Defense, utilizing durable 'Colossus of Harmony' units that function as walking fortresses.
