Upgrading your arsenal in Beast of Reincarnation is essential to keeping pace with the Malefects you encounter. While you will frequently use Amber to boost damage and ammo capacity, you will eventually hit a progression wall that prevents further enhancements.
How to Enhance Weapons
You can upgrade your weapons using two primary methods:
- The Workbench: Located in your Cleanse Walker hub, positioned behind Brad in the pilot’s seat and near the kitchen area.
- Camps: Use the Enhance Weapons option available at any camp you visit during your journey.
Each upgrade consumes Amber, the game's primary currency.
How to Bypass Upgrade Caps
If your weapon upgrades are locked despite having enough Amber, you have reached the current limit for your Cleanse Walker's programming, known as Bauera. To unlock higher enhancement tiers, you must increase your Bauera stats:
- Identify the required stat: Check the weapon’s upgrade screen to see which Bauera category—Power (blue), Calculations (yellow), or Knowledge (green)—is currently limiting your progress.
- Gather spoils: Search the world for golem remnants.
- Follow your dog: Utilize your faithful companion, Koo, to locate Strongboxes and valuable item markers, which are reliable sources for the spoils needed to boost these stats.
Once you have improved your Bauera programming to the required level, you can return to the Workbench or a camp to resume enhancing your gear.
