How Sunderfolk Works
Designed to replicate the experience of a tabletop role-playing session without the scheduling hurdles or rulebook memorization, Sunderfolk tasks players with choosing from six animal heroes—such as a bat Bard, a bear Berserker, and a Pyromancer. Missions take place on hex-based battlefields featuring hazards, objectives, and tactical positioning options.
The game runs on a TV or monitor while individual players use their smartphones or tablets as controllers, character sheets, and ability hands. Rather than standard dice rolls, abilities draw from customizable decks of Fate Cards.
