A total of eight Xbox games are scheduled for removal from the Microsoft Store throughout August and September 2026. While some titles are disappearing due to server closures, others are being delisted to make room for updated versions or re-releases.

Delisting Schedule for August and September 2026

The following games are confirmed to be leaving the store:

  • Busway Islands - Puzzle (August 6)
  • Match Village (August 6)
  • Railway Islands - Puzzle (August 6)
  • Sokocat - Combo (August 6)
  • Space Elite Force 2 in 1 (August 6)
  • Warface: Clutch (August 25)
  • Railbreak (September 4)
  • Toy Story 3 (September 29)

Impact on Players

For most of these titles, the delisting primarily affects the ability to purchase the game digitally. Players who already own these titles will retain access to them after the removal dates, with the exception of Warface: Clutch and HAWKED, which are closing their servers entirely.

Some of these removals are part of a transition to new versions:

  • Railbreak: The original version will be replaced by Railbreak DX, which features Xbox Play Anywhere support, improved graphics, and additional polish.
  • Toy Story 3: The original Xbox 360 title will be replaced by Toy Story 3: The Complete Edition, launching on October 15, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S.
  • Indie Titles: The five titles delisted on August 6 are reportedly expected to return to the store under a new publisher in the future.

As the situation regarding library availability can change, players are encouraged to check their digital collections for any of these titles before their respective delisting dates.
