Microsoft has detailed the latest Xbox Free Play Days lineup, bringing a selection of titles to players on Xbox consoles. The current rotation features NBA 2K26 alongside several other games, giving subscribers and players temporary access through mid-August.
Xbox Free Play Days Lineup and Availability
While most titles featured in the current Xbox Free Play Days selection remain accessible until late on August 9, NBA 2K26 comes with an extended availability window. Players can access the basketball title until August 14.
Alongside NBA 2K26, this week's software selection includes:
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands (which recently received a free upgrade for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S)
- Sports Renovations (requires Xbox Game Pass)
- Wax Heads (two-hour trial)
It is worth noting that NBA 2K26 and the two Ghost Recon entries are already included with Xbox Game Pass for certain subscribers, whereas Sports Renovations and Wax Heads do not currently belong to any subscription tiers outside of their temporary trial or Free Play Days status.
How to Access the Games
To download and play the featured titles on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or other supported Xbox hardware:
- Search for the specific game on the Xbox Store.
- Select the "Install, Included with Game Pass" or "Free Trial" button depending on the title's current status.
- Launch the game directly from your console library.
Most of the titles included in the current Free Play Days rotation are also available at a discount for permanent purchase on the Xbox Store, with the Ghost Recon entries currently marked down by 90%.
