Xbox has confirmed it will return to Tokyo Game Show this year with a dedicated broadcast set for September 17, 2026. The event follows the company's notable presence at previous shows, which have featured major reveals such as the announcement of Forza Horizon 6.
Broadcast Schedule and FanFest
The digital presentation is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM JST. For international viewers, this translates to the following times:
- PT: 5:00 AM
- ET: 8:00 AM
- BST: 11:00 AM
In addition to the broadcast, Xbox Japan is hosting an in-person Xbox FanFest in Tokyo on the same day. Participation is free, though the event is restricted to residents of Japan aged 18 or older. Applications for the FanFest are currently open via the official Xbox Japan social channels.
What to Expect
While last year's event was highlighted by a significant reveal for the Forza series, Microsoft has not specified the exact lineup for this year's showcase. The event will run alongside the wider Tokyo Game Show schedule, which takes place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. In Game News will provide full coverage of all announcements as they are revealed during the stream.
