Super Nintendo action RPG Terranigma may finally receive an official United States release, three decades after its original debut. The 16-bit real-time RPG originally launched in Japan in 1995, followed by a European release published by Nintendo a year later. American players never received an official version due to the closure of Enix's US offices at the time.

That missing release window may soon change. Retro publisher Clear River Games released a teaser trailer pointing toward an upcoming reveal, stating that a full announcement will take place during the Pixel Arcadia showcase on August 24, 2026. The teaser video includes copyright notices referencing publisher Square Enix, original developer Quintet, and character designer Kamui Fujiwara.
