Spider-Man Brand New Day Box Office Reaches $1 Billion
The fourth Tom Holland-starring film in the franchise, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has officially crossed the $1 billion global box office milestone, securing second place among Marvel's fastest-grossing releases.
The film previously erupted to a $932 million global opening weekend, briefly surpassing Avengers: Endgame for the biggest box-office opening weekend record. In North America alone, the movie earned $407 million after four days of release.
Continuing Box Office History
This latest milestone builds on a long history of box-office success for the franchise. Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire's original Spider-Man was the first movie to ever gross over $100 million in its opening weekend back in 2002. More recently, 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home finished as the highest-grossing film of that year.
