The firm's first fund, valued at $180 million, has distributed 3.6 times the invested capital. Notable early investments include Dream Games—which was acquired by CVC for $5 billion—as well as early backing for FaceIt, PixAI, and Roblox publisher Voldex.

Addressing the current market, general partner Jay Chi noted that founders are navigating new user behaviors, distribution models, and fresh technology. While acknowledging that content studios face a challenging funding environment with shifted consumer behavior and harder distribution, the firm maintains that strong creators are responding with disciplined production plans and realistic budgets.

Makers Fund operates globally with teams located in London, Reykjavik, Tokyo, Singapore, New York, and Los Angeles, maintaining a portfolio of approximately 90 companies distributed across North America, Europe, and Asia.
