A new update for Warlords is now live on PC, addressing a variety of technical issues and quality-of-life adjustments. Players are required to restart their game client to trigger the download and apply the latest fixes.
Key Gameplay and Technical Fixes
The development team has implemented several corrections to resolve long-standing stability and interface concerns. Notable changes include:
- Stability and Loading: Resolved an issue where players were getting stuck on the loading screen after exiting the battlefield.
- Performance: Fixed a lag-inducing issue linked to interacting with the Personal Camp.
- Unit Management: Optimized the unit replenishment process and corrected an error where the game incorrectly displayed an "insufficient resources" message when materials were actually available.
- Market and Quests: Fixed a bug where Fine Horses purchased from the Merchant could not be used to replenish units, and resolved a progression blocker in the Huarong Trail quest.
- Display Fixes: Resolved incorrect craft cost displays for Tiger and Leopard Cavalry, White Plume Guards, and Yellow Turban Chanters.
- Territory War: Fixed issues that prevented some players from entering the Territory War Front and corrected a logic error in Pursuit mode where late-joining clan members would assist the enemy team.
Clan and Fief Adjustments
The update introduces a significant reduction in the penalty for losing a Fief. Material loss from forced Personal Camp relocation has been lowered from 50% to 30%. Additionally, the developers confirmed that Clan XP lost due to Wednesday's maintenance will be distributed to players before the upcoming Friday Territory War.
The Warlord Faction’s Cohort level scaling has also been adjusted to ensure players keep pace as the campaign progresses:
- Rise of the Guandong Coalition: Automatic upgrade to level 4.
- Holding the Pass: Automatic upgrade to level 6.
- Pacifying Guanzhong: Automatic upgrade to level 7.
Finally, a new item, the Speaking-Trumpet, has been added to the store. Players can claim 30 of these items for free on a weekly basis.
