If you have discovered the hidden chamber in the Marrow Keep but cannot interact with the chalice to "Commune with Chaos," you are likely missing a specific item. This is an intentional design choice rather than a technical bug.
The Requirement for Communing
To successfully interact with the chalice, you must have the Slayer Seal in your inventory. You do not need to equip it; simply picking up the item satisfies the requirement to access the secrets within this dungeon.
While the Slayer Seal provides significant buffs and reduces game difficulty, it also disables achievements. Because of this, many players intentionally avoid picking it up, which prevents them from accessing the chaos-related content in the Marrow Keep.
How to Find the Secret Chamber
If you have not yet located the room containing the chalice, follow these steps:
- Descend the ramp into Sester Genessa’s arena located in the Marrow Keep.
- Turn left once you reach the bottom of the ramp.
- Locate the stone block in the wall that features a specific engraving.
- Strike this wall with your weapon to open the secret passage.
Once the chamber is open and you have the Slayer Seal in your inventory, you will be able to commune with chaos.
