A new competitive drifting experience and a British automotive celebration are heading to Forza Horizon 6 next month. Developer details reveal that Drift Attack will launch on September 7, bringing open-world drift competitions to the Shimanoyama Circuit with no loading screens.

How Drift Attack Works
Drift Attack blends the accessibility of Drift Zones with the competitive structure of Horizon Drift. Operating similarly to Time Attack Circuits, players drive straight through a gantry from the open world into the Shimanoyama Circuit with no loading interruptions.
Points accumulate by sliding sideways along the track, with additional score multipliers awarded for performing drifts inside designated Clipping Zones placed around the arena. The mode supports solo runs, Convoys, and random encounters with other players in the Shared World.
Leaderboards track both in-world and Convoy performances, including Drivetrain filter options in the menu. Participating in the Horizon Festival Campaign tied to the mode also unlocks the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition, while a stock version arrives in the Autoshow.
British Automotive Celebration and 7-Eleven Collaboration
Starting September 10, the festival hosts a British Automotive takeover. The in-game dealership offers discounts on rare and iconic British vehicles, while three new-to-Horizon British cars arrive as Festival Playlist rewards. Car Pass owners receive four additional new-to-Horizon vehicles.
Additionally, an upcoming 7-Eleven Evolving World and EventLab Content Pack is in development following player suggestions on the Forza Feedback Portal. More details on the 7-Eleven collaboration will arrive alongside the October series update.
