Kabam and Herobeat Studios have confirmed that the open-world action-adventure game Wilderings: The Lost Spring is set to launch its Version 1.0 update in spring 2027. The announcement, delivered alongside a new gameplay trailer at gamescom 2026, provided a look at the game's newly revealed volcanic biome.

Volcanic Biome and Gameplay Features

The upcoming region introduces three distinct Hântu creatures to assist the protagonist, Abi, as she navigates a fractured world. Players can utilize these creatures to aid in combat and exploration:

  • Razzle: Fires explosive projectiles that burn and multiply.
  • Mokul: Summons pyroclastic rain to scorch specific areas.
  • Furioso: Throws magma that spreads damage between multiple enemies.

The trailer also featured a first look at the boss fight against Röhe, a young hunter from the Frostlands. Players will face this challenge in a magma-lit arena that requires mastery of movement, combat, and creature-based abilities.

Gamescom 2026 Availability
