In an unexpected industry collaboration, Blizzard Entertainment and CD Projekt Red have announced a partnership that brings The Witcher 3 directly to Blizzard's PC launcher alongside crossover incentives for Diablo 4.

The crossover initiative was revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live, with both studios detailing the plans in separate blog posts. While the initial focus centers on bringing the remastered RPG and its upcoming downloadable content to Battle.net, CD Projekt Red global PR director Radek Grabowski indicated that more projects are planned for the partnership.

Players can expect additional updates on the collaboration when BlizzCon takes place over the weekend of September 12 and 13.
