Capcom Is Making a life-sized Resident Evil hero as part of its upcoming franchise celebrations. To mark the series' 30th anniversary, the publisher is commissioning a life-sized Leon Kennedy statue to anchor its upcoming physical exhibition in Tokyo.

What to Expect at the Exhibition
The Resident Evil 30th anniversary exhibition features multiple distinct zones for attendees. The Memories of Those Who Stood Against Them section focuses on franchise protagonists across their appearances, which is where the new Sized Leon Kennedy Statue will stand alongside other character models.
Other confirmed installations include Evidence of Horror, a gallery featuring items, creatures, and meticulous life-sized villain models, and The World of Resident Evil Theater, an introductory screening room designed to enhance immersion. Capcom has also announced plans for exclusive promotional merchandise sales at the venue.
Tickets for the event went on sale on August 3, 2026, ahead of the October opening at the Shibuya BEAM Gallery.
