This week’s Nintendo Download is headlined by a pair of major releases for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Players can now dive into Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, which launches today, or prepare for tomorrow’s arrival of Digimon Story Time Stranger.

New Releases for Switch and Switch 2

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok brings action RPG gameplay to the Sky Realm. The title features over 20 playable characters and supports local or online multiplayer for up to four people. Players can explore floating islands and battle powerful foes as part of the experience.

Digimon Story Time Stranger arrives on July 10, 2026. This turn-based strategy game tasks players with saving both the human and Digital worlds, featuring a roster of over 450 Digimon with non-linear evolution paths. Those playing on the Nintendo Switch 2 will have the added option to select their preferred graphics mode. Pre-purchase for the title is currently available via the Nintendo eShop.

Other upcoming arrivals for the platform include Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, which launches on July 15. The game invites players to explore an island, befriend spirit bears, and customize their campsite. It will be available on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo Switch Online Updates

The Nintendo Switch Online library has expanded with several classic titles:

  • Fortified Zone (Game Boy): A 1991 action shooter where players control two agents, Masato Kanzaki and Mizuki Makimura, to infiltrate a secret fortress.
  • Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 (Game Boy): Wario’s quest to steal a golden statue from pirates on Kitchen Island, featuring power-ups like the Bull, Jet, and Dragon Pots.
  • The Sword of Hope II (Game Boy): A 1996 RPG following Prince Theo of Riccar on a mission to solve mysteries through command-based exploration.

Additionally, Dr. Mario & Puzzle League has been added for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, bringing two 2005 Game Boy Advance puzzle titles to the service.

Events and Promotions

Nintendo is also hosting several community events and promotions. A new Splatoon 3 Splatfest, themed around the Splatoon Raiders game, is scheduled from July 10 at 5 p.m. PT through July 12 at 5 p.m. PT. Meanwhile, the Donkey Kong Bananza game will host the “Elephant Bananza Stampede” event from July 14 to July 21.
