Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection Confirmed for September 2026
Publisher Commodore and developer Antstream, working alongside Team17, have announced the Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection. The definitive franchise package brings the complete library of games and extras from the series' first era to modern hardware.
The collection launches in September for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

What's Included in the Collection
Players deploy across six core original campaigns as a lone-wolf, with locally assigned personnel, or via remote peer-to-peer uplink. The package features modern software enhancements, field-deployable revive packs, and optical tools to customize HUD elements.
The Vault Interactive Archives provides an in-universe experience with concept art, original retail launches, exclusive developer interviews, and retrospective videos.
Modern Upgrades and Retro Visuals
The collection includes twin-stick support for 2D and 3D titles, classic mouse and keyboard support for 3D entries, tactical save states, and global customization options. A Retro-Visual Suite lets players switch between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, apply CRT scanlines, and use custom screen bezels.
Multiplayer and New Survival Modes
Alongside preserved couch cooperative modes, the collection introduces Rush Mode for high-stakes online player-versus-player cooperative action with no saves or continues. A solo Horde Mode also challenges players to survive against the Breed.
