Activision has introduced a competitive challenge for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone players, offering a limited-edition, serialized weapon camo to the first 100,000 participants who complete the requirements.

How to Earn the Serialized Gilded Ruin Camo
The race begins following the start of Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 5. To participate, players must first pre-order Modern Warfare 4, which grants immediate access to the Moonlit Pearl camo pack and initiates the challenge to unlock the Gilded Ruin variant.
Once the event goes live, players must accumulate 5,000 Skulls through eliminations across various game modes. The rate at which Skulls are earned differs by mode:
- Warzone: 30 Skulls per elimination
- Black Ops 7 Multiplayer: 10 Skulls per elimination
- Endgame: 5 Skulls per elimination
- Zombies: 1 Skull per elimination
The first 100,000 players to reach the 5,000-Skull threshold will receive a version of the Gilded Ruin camo marked with a unique serialization number. For instance, the first player to complete the challenge will receive “No: 000001 of 100,000.” Players who complete the challenge after the 100,000-player limit has been reached will still receive the Gilded Ruin camo, though it will not include a number.
Availability in Modern Warfare 4
Players who secure the Gilded Ruin camo can utilize it in both Black Ops 7 and Warzone. Activision has confirmed that both the Moonlit Pearl and Gilded Ruin camos will be supported in Modern Warfare 4 at its launch, allowing those who earned the serialized version to continue using it throughout the year.
