Streamer Entertainment Twitch Asmongold has confirmed that his latest Twitch suspension will last two weeks, while revealing that a recent health scare kept him offline and prompted a visit to the emergency room.
The streamer's Zackrawrr channel was taken offline on August 7, 2026, with no immediate explanation from the platform. In a video addressing his absence, Asmongold explained that he experienced a symptom identical to one his father had before being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The incident left him panicked and petrified, leading him to seek medical attention at the emergency room.
Medical staff examined the 36-year-old and reassured him that he was okay. While the symptoms have completely subsided, Asmongold noted that he remains concerned and intends to arrange further testing.
Impact and Response to the Suspension
The health scare began prior to the Twitch action, with Asmongold staying away from his computer for roughly 24 hours due to stress. When he eventually discovered that Twitch had handed down a 14-day suspension, his initial reaction was relief rather than frustration, giving him time to focus on his health.
Although Twitch has never specified the rule violation, Asmongold believes the penalty relates to recent controversial comments he made about migrants attempting to enter the Spanish city of Ceuta. He plans to appeal the suspension to reduce it to one week, and floated the possibility of broadcasting on Kick or treating the remaining time away as a vacation while waiting out the ban.
