Twitch streamer HMBL Zayy’s motorhome was destroyed in a highway crash on Tuesday, just over a week after he completed a 3,000-mile charity walk across the United States. The streamer, who broadcast his journey from Philadelphia to California to raise funds for a new trade school, was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the streamer’s friend, Deejay, was driving the motorhome back to the East Coast when the collision occurred. Deejay entered the dirt center median after the impact and was subsequently treated for minor injuries at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio. He has since been discharged.
HMBL Zayy was flying home during the crash and was not injured. He is currently driving back across the country to assess the state of the vehicle and search for Milo, who had accompanied the duo for the entirety of their 124-day trek.
This crash marks the second major incident associated with the project. On Day 33 of the walk, Zayy was struck by a car in Indiana, resulting in a hospitalization before he resumed the challenge. Despite the loss of the motorhome and the search for his missing dog, Zayy has stated he remains committed to his goal of opening a trade school for teenagers.
