Microsoft has announced the latest lineup for Xbox Free Play Days, offering players access to a selection of titles from August 27 through August 30, 2026.

This week's selection includes a mix of genres, headlined by Control Ultimate Edition. With a sequel to the title scheduled for release in the coming weeks, this provides an opportunity for players to experience the base game. Additionally, the list includes the following games:

  • Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
  • Ark: Survival Ascended (Requires Xbox Game Pass)
  • Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker (Requires Xbox Game Pass)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (Beta access)

Access Requirements

While the Control Ultimate Edition and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves are available as part of the Free Play Days promotion, other titles on this week's list require an active Xbox Game Pass subscription to play. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is also included as part of its second and final beta weekend.
