A new title titled Marble Souls is heading to Steam later in 2026, blending the physics-based rolling gameplay of Super Monkey Ball with the interconnected world design and stat-based progression systems characteristic of FromSoftware’s Dark Souls.

Gameplay and Progression

Developed by Fynn Levy, Rollin' Barrel, and Stuffed Wombat—the team behind Mosa Lina and FALLSTRUKTUR—the game tasks players with exploring a vast environment while trapped inside a giant marble. As players collect lost souls, they can allocate points into various attributes, including health, stamina, speed, defense, and poise.

The developers have confirmed that the stat system allows for distinct character builds, which directly influence how the marble performs in the world. Players can unlock new paths by spending points to alter how their marble jumps, rolls, and sprints. Furthermore, the game features equippable items that grant the marble new capabilities to assist in exploration.
