EverDrive developer Krikzz has announced the EverDrive-64 Pro, an upgraded flash cart for the Nintendo 64. The new hardware succeeds the existing EverDrive-64 X7, introducing significant technical improvements for console enthusiasts.

The primary addition to this model is a dedicated core for the 64DD, the Japan-only magnetic storage peripheral for the N64. In addition to disk support, the device includes an on-board button specifically for swapping virtual 64DD disks and managing cheat codes.
Beyond the 64DD functionality, the Pro model utilizes a higher-quality 6-layer PCB with a hard-gold surface finish. The internal specifications have been boosted to include 128 MB of SDRAM and a faster Cyclone 10 FPGA chipset, which Krikzz notes provides speedier USB data access compared to the X7 iteration.

The EverDrive-64 Pro maintains compatibility with all standard Game Pak save types, including SRAM, EEPROM, and FlashRAM. Additional features include:
