Creative director Guangyun Chen confirmed that the studio is implementing a comprehensive texture compression overhaul designed to reduce the game's footprint across all platforms without compromising visual fidelity.

Players should be aware that the initial download for Season 9.5 will be larger than standard seasonal patches. According to the studio, this is necessary because the team is completely repackaging the game's assets to achieve the final, lighter install size.
