Wargaming has released the latest weekend update for World of Warships, bringing new content and competitive events to the long-running naval combat title. As of August 1, 2026, players have access to the second half of the Summer Festival and a new community quiz.

Summer Festival: Second Wave

The Summer Festival event has entered its second phase, introducing five new vessels to the game:

  • Rhode Island
  • Cambridge
  • Tsurugi
  • Almirante Grau
  • Royal Sovereign

These additions are accompanied by several new premium container options, including Firepower IX, Distant Voyages, and various decals. Players can browse these new offers directly through the in-game store or the official website.

Community Quiz and Wiki Updates

A new quiz is currently live on the World of Warships website, challenging players to identify ships based on historical, visual, and gameplay criteria. The developer notes that the newly-overhauled game Wiki is available to assist players in finding answers to these questions.

Weekend Brawl: 1v1 Duels

This weekend’s Brawl session focuses on individual performance. The event is restricted to 1v1 battles, requiring players to select a Tier VIII battleship, cruiser, or destroyer to compete against others.

Recent and Upcoming Changes

The game continues to evolve following the recent 15.6 update, which introduced a map-based Battle Pass and added the Riposte map to Random and Co-op modes. Looking ahead, Update 15.7 is currently in beta, with planned changes to aircraft carriers and anti-aircraft mechanics, as well as early access to Pan-American destroyers.
