According to updates shared by Duffy, the supercharged hiring process brought in more than 2,000 candidates who entered the Academy quicker than any previous class. Training personnel noted that the recruited cohorts performed exceptionally well during instruction, validating the transfer of cognitive skills honed in simulation and video games to high-stress aviation management environments.
While current application windows for the Federal Aviation Administration initiative have closed, officials indicate that workforce expansion efforts for aviation roles will continue.
