The US South DLC for Real VR Fishing is available now on Meta Quest and SteamVR. Developed by Devs United Games, the expansion introduces seven new fishing locations across the southern United States, ranging from freshwater spots in Texas to saltwater areas in the Florida Keys.

New Content and Visual Upgrades
Players can now fish in new environments including the Mississippi River in New Orleans, the Atlantic coasts of Georgia and Florida, and the Texas Gulf Coast. The update introduces several new fish species to the game, such as tarpon, bonefish, snook, Guadalupe bass, and various types of snapper.
Beyond the new locations and species, the expansion features a new rod and reel set specifically designed for Southern inshore fishing. This release also marks the debut of a new image-upscaling pipeline, which the studio states provides higher fidelity and sharper environment visuals than previous entries in the series.

The expansion adds three specific time-of-day stages: Jacksonville's illuminated waterfront, Saint Marys River after dark, and a sunset stage in Key West. The full list of new locations includes:
