If you are playing Mortal Shell 2 on PC and wondering why upgraded Tarstones haven't rewarded you with any items in your inventory, you are likely missing your Tarcores. While required to fully level up your stones, Tarcores do not automatically transfer to your character's pockets.
How to Collect Tarcores in Mortal Shell 2
- Head back to Franz and locate the Tarforge.
- Check the mouth or outlet at the front of the Tarforge.
- Collect the Tarcores waiting there where you left them.
Managing Your Tarstone Upgrades Across Playthroughs
Because each Tarstone requires six Tarcores to reach level three, the game limits resource availability during a standard playthrough. There are not enough Tarcores available in a single run to upgrade every available Mortal Shell 2 Tarstone.
Players aiming to max out all stones will need to complete New Game Plus multiple times. Because of this restriction, choose your first-playthrough upgrade targets carefully before committing your resources.
