Developer Multiverse has deployed Directive AG-14 for the colony sim and action roguelite Pax Autocratica. The update, released August 15, 2026, introduces new gameplay mechanics and a series of technical fixes intended to improve combat balance and overall stability.
New Capture Mechanics
The core addition in this patch is the inclusion of three advanced Capture Rounds. These items are designed to improve success rates when players attempt to capture Elites and Bosses. To prevent exploitation, a new combat rule has been implemented: enemies that survive a capture attempt are temporarily immune to being killed, unless the player uses the Leader's melee attacks to bypass the limitation.
Combat and Performance Improvements
Multiverse has rebalanced specific weapon cores to increase their effectiveness. The damage for the Weapon Core · Vortex Shell has been increased, and the damage area for the Weapon Core · Thunderbolt Arrow has been expanded. Visual and audio fidelity has also been adjusted, including improved projectile effects for the Scourgeborn Ravager and updated sound effects for tutorial sequences.
